About the producer
Manantiales del Frontino, located in Caicedonia, Valle del Cauca, is a prestigious 170-hectare coffee estate in Colombia. The farm is renowned for its exceptional quality, cultivating over 10 coffee varieties at altitudes ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 meters above sea level. These coffee plants thrive alongside native forests and benefit from pure meltwater from the Cordillera Central mountain range, enhancing the unique characteristics of each variety and resulting in exceptional coffee blends.
Under the leadership of owner Andres Felipe Londoño, the farm’s team has elevated its reputation through the thoughtful cultivation of high-quality varieties like Geisha, Red and Yellow Bourbon, Castillo, and Colombia. Their efforts were recognized in 2011 when their Geisha was awarded “Coffee of the Year” at the SCAA conference, and in 2012, they received recognition from the Rainforest Alliance for their commitment to sustainable farming practices.
As a Rainforest Alliance-certified estate, Manantiales del Frontino maintains a diverse ecosystem. In addition to coffee plants, the farm is home to platano trees, avocados, and extensive native tree coverage, preserved in collaboration with local authorities.
